Remains

a screenplay by Alan Black

Remains plays with ideas of rejection.

remains (n.) all that is left of something, or the parts of something old that are still left

remain (v.)  to stay behind or wait somewhere,

or to continue in a particular state without changing,

or to be left after everything else has gone,

or to continue to need to be taken care of after everything else has been dealt with,

or to endure and succeed at continuing on in spite of all

“The passions are like fire,

useful in a thousand ways and dangerous only in one,

through their excess.”
